Life Matters is a short course that is designed to help improve both your financial and mental wellbeing.

Throughout the 8-week course, we will look at the barriers that impact your financial wellbeing and your relationship with money to help you make positive financial management decisions. We will also explore the effect this can have on
your mental and emotional wellbeing and how to overcome issues using various tactics and approaches.

When you join this course we will aim to help improve your financial and mental wellbeing.

We will equip you with the tools to make positive changes for now and the future.

Our new wellbeing course will help:

  • Achieve a healthy life balance
  • Find opportunities for lifestyle changes
  • Recognise the importance of financial wellbeing
  • Explore fears and barriers
  • Produce a wellbeing action plan

To qualify for a place on this 6 week course you must live in Luton, be aged 19+ and unemployed or earning less than £16,000 per year.

Course details

We will be running three courses between November 2022 and July 2023. See below the details of course number one which have been confirmed.

Course one:

    • Friday 4th November 2022 to Friday 13th January 2023 (no sessions on Friday 23rd and 30th December)
    • Every session 9:30am to 12:30pm
    • At Trinity Community Centre, Trinity Road, Luton, LU3 1TR

Course two and three: We are still confirming the final details of these courses and will be updating our website soon.

Join the sessions face-to-face or online

We encourage all learners to join each session face-to-face to get the most out of the course. However, if you are unable to attend face-to-face then you can join the live sessions online. Speak to our team for more information on how to join the live sessions online.
