Disability equipment for sale

The Disability Resource Centre recently opened a second-hand disability equipment shop at the centre in Dunstable.


During the coronavirus crisis we are not open to the public in-person, but you can instead use our popular ‘chat and collect’ service to find disability equipment for your needs.

Toilet seat raisers (multiple sizes) 3 with lids, 1 without. All over 3" high. 4 £10
Commode Brown with back and arm rests. Not used, with lid, height adjustable. 1 £20
Bath transfer bench White, height adjustable, with back. 1 £40
Shower chair White, height adjustable with back and arm rests. 1 £15
Corner shower stool Height adjustable, white, no back or armrests. 2 £15
Toilet seat raiser with surround White raisors, arm rests, height adjustable. 2 £10
Walking sticks (various) Variety of walking sticks, some height adustable, some wooden. Some also left or right handed moulds. 12 £5

Drop rails White rails, no screws with the products - needs to be secured to wall. Size 80cm when dropped, 25cm when up, base plate 24.5cm x 10cm (needs 4 screws), item weighs 35kg. 18 £10

If you’d like to place an order we’ll arrange a ‘no-contact’ collection service, with us observing the highest hygiene and social distancing guidelines at all times.

You can donate your second-hand items for our charity to sell too

If you would like to donate a piece of equipment so that our charity can sell and help fund the many ways we help disabled people and carers in Bedfordshire and Luton, then please contact The Disability Resource Centre on 01582 470970 or email us to find out more. 

In normal times we operate a ‘For Sale’ list of second-hand items which people may advertise items that are surplus to requirements. 

But due to the coronavirus crisis we have suspended this service until further notice.
