Supporting carers and families in Luton
We run Carers Central with a dedicated team working hard to ensure that people with dependents with any condition, of any age, can identify as a ‘carer’. We help with 1-2-1 support, regular meet-ups with other carers and more.

We help thousands of people every month
Over 12,500 people contacted us with an enquiry related to a disability or health condition and two thirds asked about more than one topic. We supported over 2,000 disabled people to directly employ their own carers and more.

Mrs W is losing her sight
Mrs W is managing to live independently in most ways but she was finding it increasingly difficult to set her gas oven temperature correctly. We helped her find a solution with the charity REMAP, who came up with an ingenious design to fix safer controls to her oven.

Our partnerships are creating success
Our health and wellbeing partnerships have led to some remarkable achievements. One of our clients in Luton ‘has lost over 3 stone and is now out of the chair in the gym doing sit ups’.

Helping people claim £1,000,000 in benefits
We have helped people claim over £1,000,000 in benefits in 2016/17. Our service covers Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire and Luton.
