We can help with general benefits advice for people with disabilities.
Every year millions of pounds of welfare benefits are not claimed.
We helped disabled people in Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire claim over £1,000,000 in 2016/17.

We can help with general benefits advice for people with disabilities and make appointments with the Benefits Advisors who can give more specific advice such as benefits checks and help with form filling:
- Carers allowance (CA)
- Disability Living Allowance (DLA) – for both children and adults
- Employment Support Allowance (ESA)
- Attendance allowance (AA)
- Personal Independence Payments (PIPs)
- Disability premiums Severe Disability Premium (SDP)
- Housing Benefit and council tax support
- Incapacity Benefit (IB)
- Tax Credits
- Jobseekers Allowance (JSA)
People with disabilities of any age including children who live in Bedford, Luton and Bedfordshire may receive this free advice.

Free Disability Benefits Workshops
We offer free Disability Benefits Workshops that are designed to help you negotiate your way through the rather in-depth and sometimes confusing forms.
In our benefit workshops you will have help and guidance to complete your PIP (personal independence payment) or AA (attendance allowance) claim form.
Improve your chances of a successful award.
You can book your place by calling the team on 01582 470970.
The workshops run most Mondays at The Disability Resource Centre with a maximum of 8 claimants in each session.

We are breaking down the barriers and are launching an exciting package of support to help people living in Bedfordshire and Luton to exercise safely at home including:
- Free beginner-level online classes by local fitness professionals
- Join the free classes online by live video or watch pre-recorded sessions and exercise any time
- Free exercise equipment hire of items like resistance bands and balls
Free tablet computer hire and technology training for people without a smartphone, PC/Mac or tablet, so they can join the online sessions
