Our Journey
The Disability Resource Centre first opens its doors in 1994 and now, for more than 30 years, we have stood alongside people with disabilities and long-term health conditions.
With the help of many organisations, foundations, local businesses & individuals, we have helped people overcome barriers, build confidence and live more independently.
We continue to work tirelessly to allow us to continue the work that make such a difference to the people who need us.

Our Services
Here at the DRC, we provide vital services and advice for people who may not know where else to go. We work hard to ensure those with disabilities and long term health conditions have as little barriers as possible.
We also provide Wellbeing services for those who may face isolation and loneliness, allowing them a safe space to come, make friends, eat good food and enjoy activities.
Our Impact
With 25% percent of the population living with a disability and over 30% of people living with a long term health condition, the work we do helps more and more people who need it everyday.
Without our support, some people would continue to suffer alone with either themselves or their family members and friends in need of help.
