Empowering change: Our Disability Confident Leader status has been renewed
The Disability Resource Centre is thrilled to announce that our Disability Confident Leader accreditation has been renewed until November 2026.
Here at The DRC, we are committed to removing barriers and championing inclusivity. Through our Level 3 Disability Confidence status, we are taking an active role in encouraging and assisting other employers and local businesses on their Disability Confident journey. The Disability Confident scheme is a government initiative, designed to encourage employers to recruit and retain those with disabilities and impairments. We are thrilled to be a part of this movement of change.
Access Ability CIC, who validated our renewal application, said in their validation statement: “We are delighted to inform you that we have validated your Evidence Template and material for Disability Confident Leader (Level 3) and we are happy to confirm that from our assessment, your evidence is comprehensive, robust and offers excellent examples of positive activity and best practice.”
We hope that by once again achieving leadership status, we are clearly demonstrating to our community that we are committed to ensuring that every disabled person is given the opportunity to thrive.
If you would like to discuss how we can support your organisation to become more disability confident, please do get in touch.
