Thanks to our volunteer Trustees

This week (1st to 5th November 2021) is Trustees Week.

We give thanks to our Trustees who make such a important contribution to our charity, as the website TrusteesWeek.org says ”

Trustees’ week is an annual event to showcase the great work you do and provide opportunities for everyone to get involved and make a difference.

Thank you for playing a vital role, volunteering your time and working together to make important decisions about your charity’s work.”

We are very grateful to all our Trustees who, in their own time, play key roles in the running of our charity.

Join our board of Trustees

We are often looking for experienced executives with the skills and aptitude to help steer our charity.

The role of Trustee is voluntary, with out of pocket expenses being paid.

The Disability Resource Centre is an independent local charity delivering a wide range of information, advice and support services to disabled people, their families and carers in Bedfordshire and surrounding areas.

  • We celebrated 25 years of service to our community in 2019
  • The Disability Resource Centre is a national model of partnership working, and leads the way in implementing new health and social care-related initiatives
  • The role of Trustee is to give senior staff a clear strategic direction, as well as support in the effective and efficient delivery of the charity’s services
  • Trustees make decisions that really matter, including in areas of finance, human resources, marketing, retail, training and business development

Please send your CV, a Trustee declaration form and a covering letter saying why you would like to be involved with The Disability Resource Centre to our CEO at Melanie.Hawman@drcbeds.org.uk
