Raised colourful, cartoon hands for Carers Week

Carers Week event in Luton

Levi and Sally, who are busy helping unpaid carers in the Luton area, have planned an event in Luton for Carers Week.

Here are the details…

8th June from 10 – 2pm
Central Baptist Church, 52A Park Street, Luton, LU1 3ET

Join the us to celebrate and highlight national Carers Week. We are delighted to be hosting our carers event taking place on 8th June from 10 – 2pm. The Carers Central event will be taking place at the Central Baptist Church, 52A Park Street, Luton, LU1 3ET, limited parking is available.

The theme for this year is “Recognising and supporting Carers in the Community”

To highlight this theme, we are bringing together several organisations that provide specific support to unpaid carers. We will also be giving you an insight into some of the changes that are happening with GP support for unpaid carers, information about the New Carers Strategy and new additional services specifically for carers.

The main aim of the event is to provide awareness and support about the caring role. Carers Week is an annual national campaign to raise awareness of caring and helping others. We look forward to welcoming the many unpaid carers we support throughout the year and to meet new carers too. Everyone is welcome.
