In memory of Mick Dillon

Jill Pick the Chair of Trustees of The Disability Resource Centre says “It is with sadness that I have to inform you of the death of Mick Dillon who was a former CEO of The Disability Resource Centre.

Mick was CEO for over 15 years and oversaw the expansion of The Disability Resource Centre in that time, most notably securing contracts in Milton Keynes and Northamptonshire to provide Direct Payments services. He regularly broadcast on Three Counties radio during that time. His substantial contribution is remembered and appreciated by those of us who worked with him. More recently Mick was CEO of Luton Citizens Advice and continued to raise awareness of disability issues locally.

Mick was responsible for working on a wide range of important issues in Luton and Bedfordshire and a champion for diversity and inclusion in all areas.“
