Zero tolerance of abusive or aggressive behaviour

The charity has recently started to receive an increasing number of calls that we consider to be hate crime. In addition to the majority of our staff living with disability or long-term health conditions we are a diverse team from many backgrounds.

This is representative of the communities in which we work and our website uses images which portray the richness of diversity in the people we work with.

If you are offended by these images and call us to tell us, please remember we are a hate crime reporting centre and will pass your messages to the police team that deals with all types of hate crime.

Please also note that when you leave a voicemail your telephone number is automatically recorded.

There has also been an increase in the number of visitors to our centre being verbally abusive to our staff and volunteers.

This is of course the minority of people using our services but could spoil it for the rest of our wonderful and lovely customers being able to access welfare and disability services.

So please no matter how frustrated you are feeling, we are here to help you, not be abused in any manner.
