On Wednesday 31st January, The Disability Resource Centre, along with our project partners, will be hosting a Community Central partner collaboration day at Lewsey Community Centre between 1pm and 5pm.
We are proud to unveil The Disability Resource Centre’s new logo as we approach a remarkable 30 years of dedicated service. This in-house designed rebrand not only showcases a contemporary aesthetic but also encapsulates the essence, values, and commitment that has defined our charity over the past three decades.
It has recently been announced by the government that, as of September 2025, British Sign Language (BSL) will be taught as a GCSE in England. Here at The Disability Resource Centre, we are thrilled by this news and fully support this significant step to equality.
With Christmas just around the corner, we want to express our heartfelt thanks to our incredible community for the support you have given us in 2023. We’d like to share our customer service (email and phone) opening hours, to ensure you stay informed and supported over the Christmas period.
Themed around the importance of ‘listening & responding to the needs of unpaid carers’, you will meet like-minded people & help shape the work of the network across the year.
We are working with the support of the Dunstable Town Mayor and local community to find alternative space to operate our face-to-face services in the Dunstable area.
