Mobility shop closed for foreseeable future

Our mobility shop at Unit 10 Mayfield Road in Dunstable, has recently suffered from a large flood. Unfortunately, despite our attempts to reopen the shop immediately, this has resulted in us having to close the mobility shop to the public for the foreseeable future.

Our advice centre, which is located on the same road as the mobility shop (Unit 10) is open as usual. See our opening times for more details.

Equipment purchases and hire requests are still available.

However, from the week commencing 2nd October, we will be operating a chat and collect service from our advice centre (Unit 4, Mayfield Centre, LU5 4AP). This must be arranged on an appointment basis only. We will still be able to provide customers with independent living aids, hiring options for mobility equipment such as wheelchairs, and carry out complete equipment needs assessments.

To ensure all equipment enquiries are dealt with as appropriately and efficiently as possible, we are operating on an appointment only basis at this time. Contact our team on the details below and easily arrange your appointment.

Due to space restrictions, we will not be accepting any mobility equipment and aid donations at this time and for the foreseeable future.

Developments coming soon…

Soon, we will be introducing an online “chat and collect” service, to deal with your equipment needs as quick as possible. We are also looking into introducing a pop-up service across various locations throughout Bedfordshire. Watch out for further updates on that coming soon.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but we hope that we can still cater to your equipment needs.
