As the days grow shorter and the air gets colder, our Wellbeing Warm Hub is here to offer warmth, comfort, and connection.

Stay well this autumn and winter.

Open every Tuesday and Wednesday

10am to 1pm

The Disability Resource Centre’s popular Wellbeing Hub is proving popular again this year at our welcoming Mayfield Road centre in Dunstable.

We’ve been helping people with advice to keep warm in the winter, while managing costs, and an whole host of wellbeing activities every week.

“It made me feel good because I was able to get out and see people as I mostly stay at home”

Our sessions provide lots of friendly wellbeing sessions, practical solutions and support in a warm, welcoming environment.

Plus there are free refreshments including free tea, free coffee and free seasonal snacks.

So come to our newly refurbished cafe-style centre, every Tuesday and Wednesday.

Our Wellbeing Hub is kindly funded by The Living Well Fund which is a partnership between BLCF and Cadent

We’re delighted to offer free weekly sessions every Tuesday and Wednesday. These friendly gatherings are designed to help local residents discover practical ways to stay warm and manage energy costs during the winter months and help improve their overall wellbeing throughout the year.

Last year’s hub proved to be more than just a learning space – it became a wonderful community meeting point where people shared their experiences and discoveries.

“Just being able to get out and see people and it really helps that it’s free”

Participants told us they learned valuable money-saving techniques they’d never considered before, and the best part was how simple these methods were to put into practice at home. Many participants went on to share these tips with their friends and family, creating a ripple effect of support throughout our community.

“The staff have been very helpful and friendly”

With energy prices expected to remain high in 2025, knowing how to keep warm while managing costs has never been more important. Our sessions provide practical solutions and support in a warm, welcoming environment where everyone can learn together.

Whether it’s keeping warm, finding advice, or just enjoying a moment of calm – our Wellbeing Warm Hub is here for you this season
